New high-accuracy DAC Function Card

Shannon, Ireland - October 17, 2013 -

Designed specifically for high-precision low frequency applications like RTD simulation, the ProDAQ 3518 series of voltage output DAC function cards take advantage of recent technological advances in order to achieve outstanding performance.

The ProDAQ 3518 ensures the highest possible DC accuracy by using high-precision 18-bit DACs combined with a 4-wire sensing option on each channel.

This new function card provides up to 64 independent DAC outputs per VXI slot and up to 32 ones per LXI function card carrier.

The ProDAQ 3518 is supplied with drivers for Windows, Linux and VxWorks. Eight standard versions are available: 0 to +2V, 0 to +5V, 0 to +10V, 0 to +20V, ±2V, ±5V, ±10V and ±20V. Other output ranges are available on request. All voltage outputs have continuous short circuit protection.

ProDAQ modules, carriers and function cards provide compatibility with all current popular software environments and allow users to safely and simply expand their existing hardware and software systems. All ProDAQ function cards can be used in both ProDAQ VXIbus motherboards and LXI function card carriers, providing users with the highest channel density and functionality available today.
